A story about “sunny seed drops, chocolate covered sesame seeds”

They sell these in a number of stores in Bethesda, MD, and I’ve come to love them. They’re low on calories for the amount you can eat, though that doesn’t matter to me as much as it should.

The chocolate is light, and the seeds have the wonderful nutty taste. Seriously someone should have thought of this a long time ago.

I think you can buy some at the website: www.sunflowerfoodcompany.com, and I really believe that you should.

I swear, I’m not a shill or married to the owner, I just LOVE this candy.

Hey! Thanks for the tip! I was in Kansas last week and I was given several tubes of these things and I LOVE THEM! Where can I get them in Bethesda? Do you think maybe My Organic Market would have them in Rockville? I gave my mom one of the four that I was given and she called last night to tell me that she loves them, so I’m trying to find some to send to her, so I don’t have to part with my other three…well, two at this point. lol

They sell them at the little deli/convenient stores near my office. One is inside the 4330 Block (center building) on E/W Hwy, the other is near the corner of Wisconsin and E/W. It’s nearly across from Booeymongers, inside yet another office building. I think it’s called something Bean, like The Good Bean. If you find it (which I’ll try to walk by and get the real name), they’re turkey, avocado sandwiches are AMAZING! Except, well, they SAY they have rye bread, but they never do. I LOVE rye. And I believe that if you’re going to have a sign that says you have rye…well, you should have rye. Just my thought.

I’m really glad I’m not the only one who likes them. :)

Thanks sooooo much! I may try to make it over there before the week is over, and I’ll give those sandwiches a try too! I don’t like avocado, unless it’s in guacamole, but my best friend does and when she comes to visit again, that may be one of our quick stops. Thanks again and I’ll check back to see if you’ve found the actual name, and to see what else the Bohemian Delilah is dishing out! :)
