The one thing I need to say is that I am completely in love with Jorge Drexler, who won best original song for Al otro lado del RÃo, for his Oscar “speech.” I love that he sang, didn’t say a single word in English, and was off really quickly. And I LOVED his song. (Thank God it wasn’t sung by Beyonce, I mean, how many songs does one woman need to sing?)
Now, I hate the Oscars so I’m going to not discuss anything more…but maybe I’ll just mention that they need to bring back the big hooks to get people off the stage (eh hem, best actress…).
