Enough! No more gross commercials.

You know the two I’m talking about. You must. I can’t be the only person forced to watch these shitty things. One is the smoking commercial, where the girl walks out of her house and proceeds to lick everything in sight, including her cat (Yechh, I can taste the fur) and her trash can. I freak out everytime it’s on. The volkswagon commercial with the guy licking the handle wasn’t bad, I could understand the point, it’s ownership…or something, and it was a car handle, people touch that and then put food in their mouths. Fine. I wash my hands after touching the cat or garbage.

And I smoked, for a time. I don’t anymore. The commercial is not intended for me, so I shouldn’t need to see it.

The other, however, is worse. It’s the Quizno’s sub commercial. There are two where a very odd-looking man is asked, “What, were you raised by wolves?” The very odd man then reminisces about being raised by wolves. In one his face is licked by a mother wolf and her pups or wolfish dogs. In the other he is suckling at the mother wolf’s teet.

Now, whenever we pass Quizno’s all I can taste is fur and milk, envisioning the stupid commercial.
