Okay, I expected my mother and I would eventually have a decent, supportive relationship. It was on its way ever since I left home.
Butts, party of six, Butts…

Yeah, it was great. My mom and I really have gotten close, but there is nothing like having your boyfriend walk into the room to hear, “Yeah, but mom, remember my classmate G. Head? His dad’s name was Richard.”
Also, there has been progress on her estimation of me as a real person. Today, she called while she and my sister were looking at cars, because Q is looking to buy a Cabrio like ours.
I’ll have to get the Owl books. I loved Frog and Toad, only, I think I loved the Little Bear books better. There’s something about a little bear in a space helmet flying around.
How’s the new place?
